I know I must not be the only one that gets to this point at the end of the day. Its 9pm and your tired and don’t want to do the dishes. What do you typically do ?
I so used to get anxious in the evening if I was not able to complete everything.
I grew up thinking that everything as to be perfect, in the perfect spot.
I used to get anxious in the morning if I left the dishes in the sink at night.
I used to get anxious in the morning if I left clothes in the dryer.
I don’t say I never experience this anymore, but I am working on it.
I am working on letting go of these little things that will still be there in the morning.
What I have been able to experience in the past month is that it’s ok to not be perfect, it’s ok to let the dishes sit in the sink. It’s ok to have things not all in the right place.
My post of the day is to hopefully inspire you the busy mom of 3 that have been so hard on yourself. It’s ok to not be perfect and to want to spend time with your family and friends and to clean the next day.
The best thing I have seen is implicating my family into the task. That way I can spend time with them and still get the task done.
Another thing I like to do is turn on music and dance while I cleaning. Makes the task go by quicker as well as makes it fun.
